'Coverdale House'

This project was carried out to replace an old tired conservatory which was only used at limited times of the year due to coldness in the winter and excessive heat in the summer months.

The new structure comprises of large chunky sections of green oak. The glazing is made up of a large bi-fold door and a large electrically operated velux roof light. To the front elevation we fitted large singular pieces of double glazing incorporating specialist gasses for heat retention. The roof insulation comprises of multi foil insulation which not only provides a superb u-value but also reflects the heat of the midday sun. A slate roof adds to the character and contemporary look of the structure.

The old patio doors leading into the house were removed creating uninterrupted living space into the new Garden room. With the bi-fold door and large singular pieces of glass an inside/outside living ambiance is achieved.
