'Crabtree Farm'

Crabtree Farm was designed by Native Architects and is a high specification Timber Frame and brick clad building. The external skin consists of old traditional 2" new clamp bricks and natural stone cills and copings. Highly insulated timber frame wall panels were used on the internal skin of the external walls and an engineered floor system was incorporated into the build. Solar panels were chosen to generate hot water and a rain water harvesting system supplies water to the washing machine and toilets. Internally there is Jupiter underfloor heating to ground and first floor, a mechanical ventilation system and ceramic tiling throughout the whole ground floor. A bespoke 3 storey solid Oak staircase was chosen to enhance the entrance lobby area. This house has stunning views from all sides overlooking open countryside.
